Analog Sunday #4 Recap.
1) Alameda Flea Market, every first Sunday of the month. For people who live in the Bay Area who haven't visited Alameda Flea Market, you must! It is the most amazing place ever, along with Brick Lane and Camden in London, but it is one of the best places to spend money in San Francisco. I found out about it last year when I started my blog the girl from hk, ldn & sf. My first visit was last October and it was such a great experience, although the trip was quite frustrating. I can't believe how easy it was to get there this time. It was a quite windy, but sunny at the beginning and then it got hot and very sunny.
2) I had two outfits choices planned for the trip, it was between '70s laid back chic or nautical/air hostess and I went with nautical and that's the price you pay when you wear a boat neck and no sunscreen. Now I have this burn on my chest neck area. I hope it subsides soon or else my upper chest will have to go in hiding for a while. I had to wear my new Monki hat!
3) I bought two sterling silver rings, a cat ring for its novelty and an insignia ring. Which coincidentally, I went to American Apparel today and one of the girl who works there had the exact same ring and we were both wearing it on our right hand middle finger! How crazy? I also bought: a maxi striped knit skirt, a shell, two dresses and a blouse. Ate two corn dogs and then a froyo from the mall later in the day.
4) Brought Chloƫ along with me to Alameda on her first trip out and about in San Francisco.
5) Bumped into the lovely Erin of calivintage and Natalie of Like Fresh Laundry.
6) I need to paint and read this weekend. I miss it. It's so therapeutic.
A few mentions:
- Met Veronika of Tick Tock Vintage in Hong Kong two weeks ago. She is so lovely and the gingham dress that she wore is just darling! Hope to meet her again some day!
- Kate of Lovelorn Unicorn mentioned my blog. Thank you so much! Her blog is so inspirational and pretty, it's the perfect eye candy. Check out her wedding/bachelorette party photos, they're so dreamy and beautiful, it made my heart swell.
- Allie of No Small Dreams mentioned my blog a few weeks ago. It makes me so happy when people enjoy my blog. I must start to mention my favorite blogs on my recap posts.

ReplyDeleteI am sooooooooo mad at you!!!! You erased you Facebook page, no warning at all. No purplemonkeydishwashme at all. Just like that. Out of no where. WTF.... How am i suppose to communicate with you now, this blogging thing is so complicated. I had to look all over the page to leave a comment. What is worse, is that i thought you block me and befriend me. I had to ask around, kill a few people for answers until i got what i was looking for. This blog, which i knew about, but prefer FB. Purplemonkeydishwashme tomorrow when you have a chance, i will be waiting.
