Happy Birthday Shy! Yesterday, I picked up some calla lilies for Shy and came up with this story to get her to come downstairs at midnight. I called her at 11:50 p.m. and told her that I was walking back from Polk Street and that some one was following me and that I was scared. Of course she didn't believe me! I thought it was a pretty plausible story, but it was obvious it wasn't true! She came downstairs and I was carrying the flowers in a vase and snapped a photo of her with my Instax! We went upstairs, hung out a little, danced to Animal by Mike Snow and she made a wish a blew a candle!
Today, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Golden Gate Park by the Conservatory of Flowers. We had every intention of visiting it, but I keep forgetting it closes at 4 p.m., so by the time we got there, it was closed! We had a mini picnic on the grass and ate some fresh berries and kettle chips, yum! We took some photos, danced some and did a few cartwheels. I brought nail polish and Shy and Caro did their nails. We'll be continuing birthday celebrations this weekend!
Wishing you an amazing, memorable birthday! You've been such a supportive and kind friend and I am so thankful to have you in my life! I cannot imagine what my time in San Francisco would have been like if I hadn't met you. I truly believe it is by chance we met and by choice we became friends. I know we've only known each other for three four years, but I feel like I've known you for way more than that! I know I shouldn't remind myself how I'm leaving San Francisco for New York in two months, but I have to say I'm going to miss you terribly. My heart is going to break into a million pieces the day I have to part with you. I know the time we will spend apart will only be temporary, because we are eventually going to live in the same city. I just know it! We're going to live in New York and we're going to meet our future husbands and plans our weddings and live the lives we've always dreamed of. I love you so much! Happy Birthday to my dearest Shyness!
